Taiwanese actress, Barbie Hsu, also known as Da S, has passed away at the age of 48. The rumors were confirmed by the manager of Barbie Hsu’s younger sister, Dee Hsu, on February 3. Their family wrote, “”Thank you all for your concern! During the new year, our whole family traveled to Japan for a vacation. My dearest and kindest sister, Xiyuan (Barbie), has unfortunately left us due to contracting influenza and pneumonia. Thankful to be her sister in this life, taking care and being there for each other. I will always be grateful to her and miss her! Shan~ RIP! Love you forever! Together forever remember.”

It’s reported Barbie Hsu will be cremated in Japan and her remains will be transported back to Taiwan for the funeral. Barbie Hsu is survived by her two children with ex-husband, Wang Xiaofei, and current husband, Koo Jun Yup, her mother, an older sister, and younger sister, Dee Hsu.

Barbie Hsu and Wang Xiaofei were still involved in lawsuits regarding their divorce agreement and custody of their children. It’s reported Wang Xiaofei will be flying from Thailand to Taiwan today.
