When someone asked if she got plastic surgery, Zhao Lusi firmly replied, “No.” However, Zhao Lusi continued talking about the stigma of plastic surgery: “Is it illegal to get plastic surgery? If a girl wants to be pretty, is it illegal to get plastic surgery? Of course, I am very happy. I am very happy whenever people say I got plastic surgery because that means I’ve become pretty.”

Zhao Lusi continued saying, “But my fans feel very awful and are always out there [defending me] everyday, right?…Everyone has a choice, everyone’s aesthetics are different…let them choose whatever they want to do. If I get plastic surgery one day, I will share my beauty techniques with you all. Wouldn’t that be great?”
