TVB actor, Matthew Ho (何廣沛), 37, has successfully proposed to his non-celebrity girlfriend, Sarah Miu. The couple started dating in 2023. Matthew Ho had previously revealed that 6 months into dating Sarah, he had already plans to get married with her.

In a joint post, Matthew Ho wrote, “Do you believe in the romance of love at first sight? Yet you made me believe in love before sight. Do you still remember that blurry picture that deeply captivated my intrigue? From meeting to getting to know each other, to dating, to falling in love, to living together, to loving each other…experiencing everything together, as time passes, also looking forward to our identities changing. My best friend, soulmate and the love of my life.”

Sarah Miu studied in London and returned to work at a public relations firm in Hong Kong upon her graduation. In April 2020, the 27 year old Sarah became a boss opening her own public relations firm, Talens, working with many top brands.

Matthew Ho had once revealed that it wasn’t a secret when he was dating Sarah and that many industry friends and people from TVB already knew about their relationship. It’s reported Sarah was previously married in 2021, but divorced a year later.

Fellow TVB actress, Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗), who was a long time rumored girlfriend of Matthew Zhu, was asked about the news in an interview: “Congratulations, best wishes to him”

Rebecca Zhu was rumored to be dating Matthew Ho from 2017 to 2023. The dating rumors were never confirmed, but Matthew Ho was often spotted entering and leaving Rebecca Zhu’s home. They were also rumored to have vacationed to Thailand together. The dating rumors came to a halt in 2023 when it was rumored the two broke up and it was discovered Matthew Ho had stopped following Rebecca Zhu on Instagram. Later on, Matthew Ho had claimed him and Rebecca Zhu are just colleagues, “Whether it be friends or colleagues, there will be a time for change. I think this is the best decision or rather it’s type of respect for everyone.”

On whether they’re still in contact, Matthew Ho said, “If the company has work arrangements, there could be chances to see each other.”
