Steven Zhang Xincheng (张新成) and Liang Jie (梁洁) were announced as the leads of Chinese series, “The Day of Becoming You” (变成你的那一天), on January 11. What’s interesting is they chose to officially announce the series on the same day filming ended.
Steven Zhang plays “Jiang Yi”, the cold and aloof leader of a popular boy band. Because of his parents’ divorce and remarriages when he was young, he wasn’t able to express himself well. He doesn’t really care about covering up his desire for love. Because of this, he gets misunderstood by the public. Liang Jie plays entertainment reporter, “Yu Shengsheng”. She tries to restore the truth behind celebrity gossip. However, she gets shocked as the new media industry values popularity.
They don’t really have any interaction normally. However, the two share the same birthday and through some magical force, the two switch bodies. They have to depend on each other in their new environments and along the way, develop feelings for each other.
Steven Zhang is hot from the popularity of “Go Ahead”, while Liang Jie is known for her roles in “The Eternal Love”, “Handsome Siblings”, “You Are My Destiny”, and more.
