Taiwanese media outlet, Apple Daily, first reported they received a tip that Jay Chou (周杰倫) and his wife, Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌), were expecting their third child. The news wasn’t confirmed until a few hours later when Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan posted the pictures on Instagram and confirmed their third pregnancy.

Hannah Quinlivan posted “No. 5″ coming soon! #teamboy or #teamgirl.” Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan reportedly registered their marriage in 2014 and held their wedding in 2015. They have a daughter, Hathaway, born in July 2015, and a son, Romeo, born in June 2017.

Jay Chou posted, “Originally wanted to announce it after giving birth, it seems like the guard wasn’t up to par. This is the most beautiful present.” He had previously mentioned wanting five children as it would be lively and they could form a band. However, Hannah Quinlivan revealed before having Romeo, she was diagnosed with PCOS. After getting treatment, Hannah Quinlivan was pregnant with Romeo. Seeing Hannah Quinlivan go through so much suffering, Jay Chou said they didn’t have plan to have anymore children at the children.
