After two years of dating rumors, Carlos Chan (陳家樂) and Shiga Lin (連詩雅) have not only acknowledged their relationship for the first time, but also announced they’re engaged. On June 7, Carlos Chan and Shiga Lin announced their engagement on Instagram.
Prior to their official announcement, there were rumors that Carlos Chan had plans to propose to Shiga Lin on a yacht party prior to her 34th birthday that lands on June 29. It’s said Carlos Chan invited a bunch of their friends to go fishing for cuttlefish as a guise. When Shiga Lin came back from the restroom, Carlos Chan proposed.
Carlos Chan certainly put a lot of effort into the planning. He had an LED sign that said, “Will You Marry Me?”, party hats that said, “Shiga and Carlos”, a big bouquet of roses, and a cake with a merry-go-round.
The couple plans to tie the knot next year.
