After Mango TV’s “Sisters Who Make Waves”, it spun the currently airing male version, “Call Me By Fire”, which has achieved similar success and YOUKU’s “Shine! Super Brothers” from last year. However, the latter earned more criticism for being too greasy than praise.
Rumors about the cast of the second season have been going around the last few weeks. On October 20, YOUKU had its upfronts conference on upcoming dramas and variety shows for 2022. They also dropped a trailer for “Shine! Super Brothers 2” (追光吧) and revealed the cast:

Like the first season, 21 male celebrities of different ages and industries are gathered to train and perform in groups for a chance to be on stage. It’s similar to a survival show as there will be missions, voting, and eliminations. The Chinese name for season 2 is now追光吧, dropping the “哥哥” (older brother).
Host and dancer, Jin Xing, returns as the presenter with new members, Jin Chen, and (G)I-DLE’s Song Yuqi.
What kind of crazy lineup is this!!!
