Chinese member, Yan An (闫桉), of K-Pop group, PENTAGON, had to suspend all his work activities back in July due to health concerns. Fans have been worried about his condition as he still hasn’t resumed his activities five months later. Yan An finally updated his fans about his current condition in a Weibo post from December 4th.
In his post, he expressed:
“I really, really care about the unis (shortened version of their fandom name, “Universe”), who have supported me and my group all along. Having you guys by my side has always been my motivation. Just like you guys bringing me happiness, I also hope to give back even more happiness and fortune to you guys. Making unis sad is the most difficult to bear and painful thing for me. Regarding work, I have long made the preparations to return back to work, but the company still hasn’t informed me of any news to return to work. I’ve been inquiring with the company all along, but to this day, there still hasn’t been any clear response or direction. I am also very anxious. I also hope to invest myself into work earlier on. I will also keep in mind unis’ orders and instructions. I am very sorry for making you guys sad. Really sorry.”
After reading his post, fans felt heart broken and left him words of encouragement, saying, “We will wait for you.”, “It’s not your fault. We will continue waiting, don’t rush, precious. You are the most important!”, “What does CUBE want to do?”, “Gege, I’ll wait for you! It’s okay, don’t need to say sorry.”, “You didn’t do anything wrong. Waiting for your return. We’ve been here all along.”
