There are recent rumors TVB’s long anticipated series, “Forensic Heroes IV” (法證先鋒IV), will be airing on February 17, after “Of Greed And Ants” (黃金有罪) finishes airing. The series was originally going to air at the end of 2019 as one of TVB’s anniversary series. However, because of Jacqueline Wong’s (黃心穎) scandal, her scenes had to be reshot, pushing out the air date by three months. As a result, the series won’t be getting the spotlight it would’ve gotten had it aired last year.

2019 TVB Anniversary Awards Buzz: Rumors and Predictions Around Best Actor and Best Actress
Not only will the series lose out the spotlight and attention anniversary series normally receive, but they will lose out in awards too. Historically, series that aired during February, have only won two awards at the TVB anniversary awards show. The two awards were awarded to Raymond Cho (曹永廉) for “Best Supporting Actor” in the 2016 series, “Short End of the Stick” (公公出宮) and Michael Tse (謝天華) for “Best Supporting Actor” in the 2009 series, “Emergency Unit” (學警狙擊).
With the postponement of the 2019 TVB Anniversary Awards show to January 12, 2020, a lot of actors and actresses lost opportunities to get nominated for an award. There is speculation that the “Best Actress” award will likely be given to hot favorite, Selena Lee (李施嬅), for her performance in last year’s sleeper hit, “Barrack O’Karma” (金宵大廈). If she wins the award, there could be added interest for viewers to watch “Forensic Heroes IV”, as this is Selena Lee’s last TVB series before she left the company.
