Hong Kong singer and actor, Leo Ku, got married to his wife, Lorraine, in 2014 after dating for 20 years. The two secretly registered their marriage in Las Vegas. Leo Ku had once emphasized he really liked children and was going to go “turbo” on their baby making plans after marriage. Ever since they got married, he has been constantly asked whether there are any good news. He would just simply respond, “Working hard at the moment.” Six years later, he finally had good news to share as he made a surprise announcement of the birth of his son on March 15.
Lorraine is actually 3 years older than Leo Ku, who is 47 this year, so this was a high risk pregnancy for her. According to Oriental Daily News, Lorraine gave birth in the U.S. at the end of last year. The baby is around 3 months old. After performing his concert in Las Vegas on December 1, 2019, Leo had asked his company for a long vacation, but he kept his whereabouts a mystery. He didn’t appear until January at an event. His wife, Lorraine, who usually accompanies him at these events, wasn’t by his side either.
Leo Ku shared that he originally planned to announce the good news during the Lunar New Year, but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, he felt it was more suitable to announce it later. He planned to announce it on 4/4, Children’s Day, but he said he started receiving messages from people congratulating him. He also said, “Sincerely thankful to everyone who loves me and my wife and fans. I will continue being a good husband and a good dad.”
