TVB Actress, Aurora Li, Continued Working After Sister Diagnosed with COVID-19

TVB actress, Aurora Li’s (李君妍) older sister, was confirmed to have been preliminarily diagnosed with COVID-19. It’s reported Aurora Li, who lives with her older sister, continued working even after the diagnosis. Aurora Li apparently went to get tested after filming for the show, “All Things Girls” (姊妹淘), on March 31. Thankfully, she tested negative.

Aurora Li spoke with Oriental Daily saying, “My family member unfortunately has a confirmed diagnosis. This caused my friends and colleagues around me to worry. I thank everyone here for their concern. Once I found out this news, I immediately reported it to the company already. My mom and I immediately went to a clinic to perform the immediate test and also went to a hospital to get a lungs x-ray. The results came back negative and our lungs were normal. For safety reasons, we have already arranged to get a throat swab test the next morning. Because I am in close contract, I will follow the quarantine procedures. The company has already suspended all my current jobs.”

However, Aurora Li was working on the “Warm Bodies” (食腦喪B) inspired series a few days ago and on “All Things Girls” before she got tested. She has been in contact with several colleagues and has caused everyone at TVB to panic. A producer on “All Things Girls” revealed that Aurora Li only told the company of her sister’s preliminary diagnosis after filming the first scene. However, he said they wouldn’t be shutting down the studios.
