Taiwanese actor, Tony Yang (楊祐寧), dropped a bombshell on May 15 when he announced him and his fiancée, Melinda Wang, are expecting their first child together. Last February, someone had updated his Wiki page to say that he was already married with a daughter. He posted the following message on his IG:

“My fiancée Melinda and I are entering the next chapter of life!”

Tony Yang also included a picture of a sonogram. His manager responded, “He is usually very low-key, but this is a happy thing, so he took the initiative to share it with everyone. Won’t be revealing the details.” As for Tony Yang’s feelings about being a dad, his manager said, “He is so happy! He’s always wanted children.”

It’s puzzling how Tony Yang was able to keep his relationship with his fiancée so private. The 37 year old reportedly started dating Melinda around 3 years ago. She is 7 years younger than Tony Yang and works in the fashion and beauty industry and serves as a model for the brand. Tony Yang is currently filming in Shanghai. Taiwanese media is reporting he will probably register his marriage with Melinda when he returns to Taiwan. However, they most likely won’t be holding a wedding this year.

Tony Yang was previously in a relationship with Taiwanese actress, Amber Kuo (郭采潔), from 2011-2015. As for Melinda Wang, it was rumored she dated Taiwanese-American singer, Eric Chou (周興哲), in 2014.
