Taiwanese actress, Pace Wu (吳佩慈), recently had her fourth child with her rich baby daddy, Ji Xiaobo (紀曉波). Recently, there were reports that Ji Xiaobo and his mother had skipped on May’s rent for three detached Hong Kong properties rented for private use for massages and a parking space. The landlord had filed a motion with the high courts to retrieve 5.41 million HKD, including air conditioning bill, owed to him starting from May 1 and to take back his properties.
Pace Wu finally addressed the news of her boyfriend skipping on rent on Weibo: “I just flew back from Taipei to Hong Kong yesterday. After 22 hours of quarantine clearance, I happily brought my children home in the afternoon. After returning home, I was scrolling through my phone and was shocked once I saw the news. Why is it me again? I went to understand the situation. Because of the outbreak safety measures, my private company’s employees haven’t been able to return to the office to work. Forgot to deposit a check, which turned into late payment of over 10 day’s worth of rent for the clubhouse.”
She continued to say, “After discovering it yesterday morning, I immediately paid it. Such a trivial thing and it actually became news today. Very sorry for taking up public resources and also thanks to everyone. I’m wondering if I should just bluntly post more news about me in the future. Even though I don’t treat myself as a female celebrity anymore, but as a mother of four, there are some things I think is worthy of sharing.”
