NEXT member, Justin Huang Minghao (黄明昊), suffered a scary fall from the stage during a recording for variety show, “Super Hits”, on December 14. A video showing Justin Huang getting near to the edge of the stage was circulating. However, he seemed to have stepped into empty space, which led him to trip over. Thankfully, the stage wasn’t that high and there was a box supporting his fall.
Justin Huang was reportedly trying to give snacks to fans at the recording. Staff workers and other artists quickly came to his side to help him. He later posted on Weibo that he was okay. He said, “I’m fine. Don’t worry. Fortunately, my posture was quite cool when I fell down! Hai…”
