William Chan (陳偉霆) launched his clothing brand, “CANOTWAIT_”, in April 2020. He was on a show recently and revealed that he often films people who wear his clothes and posts it on Weibo to express his gratitude. He mentioned an incident where he encountered a woman wearing the snowboard gear from his label. So he took out his phone and started following her to film her from the back in preparation to post it on Weibo later to show his gratitude for her support.
However, shortly after he took the video, the girl’s boyfriend stopped William Chan and asked him, “What are you doing? Why are you filming my girlfriend? Why are you secretly filming her?” William Chan said he was still wearing a helmet, so the boyfriend couldn’t recognize him. He explained that he thought her outfit looked really good. The boyfriend then said, “Isn’t she wearing that William Chan’s brand? I am wearing it too. Why are you filming her?”
William Chan said he felt embarrassed to tell them who he was. In the end, William Chan deleted the video at the request of the girl’s boyfriend in front of them.
