Roger Kwok (郭晉安) and Cindy Au (歐倩怡) have always been viewed as a model couple among celebrity couples. Since the couple married in 2006, they’ve had a son and a daughter. Cindy Au faded out from the frontline work to take care of their family. Even though the couple always seem happy, it turns out Roger Kwok and Cindy were once on the verge of divorce.

The couple met in 1999 while filming a travel show together. Despite the 15 year age gap, the couple got married in 2006 at Disneyland in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, Cindy Au suffered from two miscarriages, which was a big blow for the both of them. After she adjusted her body and mind again, she finally got pregnant and had two children. Even though she’s no longer in front of the camera, Cindy Au continued to study to improve herself, like getting her boat license and graduating with first honors to become a nutritionist.

Because Roger Kwok is busy filming while Cindy Au is taking care of the family and continuing her studies, the couple started to see each other less and less, which resulted in a lack of communication. The couple even feuded for half a year and were almost on the verge of divorce. Roger Kwok once mentioned in an interview that after both parties discussed it, they decided to spend time with each other every week to understand each other more, recreate new feelings, and to rediscover the feeling of first love again.
