Andy Hui Reportedly Filming New Series while Jacqueline Wong's Future with TVB is Up in the Air

It has almost been two years since the infamous “OnSum Cheating” scandal sent shockwaves through the Hong Kong industry. Since then, Andy Hui (許志安) has tested the waters when he appeared on ViuTV’s music program, “Chill Club” last June. Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) on the other hand is still on an indefinite hiatus and hasn’t worked since the scandal. TVB executive, Virginia Lok, revealed back in January that Jacqueline Wong was interested in making a comeback, but she wasn’t sure about her plans yet.

Andy Hui seems to be ready for a comeback after last year’s performance. It’s reported he will be filming in Taiwan in April for a series called “The Producer” (接招吧! 製作人) and will also be singing the theme song. As for Jacqueline Wong, there are various rumors saying she had asked to terminate her contract with TVB, but then had a sudden change of heart and refused to sign the termination letter.

Oriental Daily News reached out to Jacqueline Wong about the news of her contract with TVB. She responded, “Baffling news. I will tell everyone if I have updates. Thanks for your concern.”
