There were viral rumors circulating recently that Zhang Zhehan (张哲瀚) was texting a woman to come to his filming location in Beihai on several occasions. In addition to that, some of the content showed someone texting under the guise of Zhang Zhehan wanting to confirm their relationship with this girl. One of the text messages even shows the “male” saying, “I am going to Vicki Zhao’s (赵薇) house now.” Vicki Zhao is Zhang Zhehan’s boss.
Zhang Zhehan’s studio issued a statement on April 5 denying all the rumors. They stated the content in those text messages are false. The law firm confirmed with their client that Zhang Zhehan has never had such WeChat conversations and doesn’t have any relations with the person “exposing” all these texts. They have asked people to stop sharing the posts and to delete the content immediately or else risk being sued.
