Miss Hong Kong 2003 first runner up, Rabee’a Yeung (楊洛婷), and her husband, Tim Wong (黃天翱), the lead singer of Hong Kong rock band, Dear Jane, welcomed the birth of their son on June 23. When the couple announced their pregnancy, they chose not to reveal the sex of the baby. The couple already have a 4 year old daughter, Tanya Faith.

Rabee’a Yeung uploaded a short video of the birth process and revealed the baby’s name is Tristan Hart Wong. She also revealed to Oriental Daily News that it only took her 9 minutes and 7 pushes to give birth to Tristan. It turns out the couple didn’t know the sex of the baby until he was born. Rabee’a Yeung told her doctor to let her cut the baby’s umbilical cord if it was boy and if it was a girl to let Tim Wong do it. So the doctor pulled out the baby and placed it on Rabee’a Yeung’s stomach, letting her cut the cord.

As for the naming, Rabee’a Yeung explained they chose Tristan as it contains the initials of her and Tim’s names. The middle name ‘Hart’ was chosen as “He is my lover from a previous life, my prince, I want him to stay be my side.”
