Congratulations are in order for Ariel Lin (林依晨) as the Taiwanese media reports she has given birth to her first child. Ariel Lin announced her pregnancy on September 29 and was due to give birth in October. The happy news comes after the couple struggled for many years trying different kinds of methods to conceive.

On October 20, Taiwanese media reported that Ariel Lin’s husband, Charles Lin (林于超) was seen coming out of a well known postpartum care ob-gyn clinic. They reported Ariel Lin had given birth on October 19.

Later that day, Ariel Lin’s manager responded to ETtoday and confirmed Ariel Lin had given birth to a girl. They said, “Thank you everyone for your care and blessings. Ariel Lin indeed give birth naturally to a libra girl a few days ago. Mother and daughter are both recuperating well.”
