On March 21, Wu Zun (吳尊) revealed him, his wife, and their two children, Nei Nei and Max, have moved from their native, Brunei, to China. He uploaded pictures of the family pushing all their luggage at the airport. Wu Zun wrote: 23 suitcases, 450 kg…Thankful for NeiNei and Max’s assistance. A family’s unity is strength. Yes, we have moved to China. New lifestyle, new dreams, new experiences, looking forward to creating even more wonderful memories.”
In a January interview, Wu Zun revealed him and his wife had plans to enroll their children to study in China so they could learn more about the culture and the language. The family of four were in China in November 2021 to film for a variety show and also to look at potential schools.
Wu Zun was met with a lot of positive comments from netizens for following through with his plans.. One person said, “Gosh, Zun, you are indeed a doer! Welcome to living in China”. Wu Zun responded, “I do as promised! Have to let the children learn Chinese well.” Another netizen said, “Welcome, welcome. Why bring so much luggage?” Wu Zun responded, “Being frugal is a type of environmental responsibility.”
