Meng Jia (孟佳) and singer and actor, Tan Jianci (檀健次), had a collaboration performance on the latest episode of “The Treasured Voice” (天赐的声音). Aside from the praise about the performance, some netizens left comments criticizing Meng Jia’s style and make up. They felt the black styling wasn’t suitable for Meng Jia and made her look fat. On April 10, Meng Jia directly responded to the criticism about her look on the show. She said, “The style from this time’s stage on The Treasured Voice’ didn’t satisfy everyone — it is my problem! I will lose weight and seriously think about the styling issues. Everyone’s suggestions are the driving force for my progress.”
Meng Jia also left a comment on her post, “It’s healthy weight loss and body management. I am indeed fatter than before. Still can’t slack off.”
