TVB actor, Brian Chu (朱敏瀚), and Miss Chinese International 2017 winner, Stitch Yu (余思霆), have broken up after dating for 3 years. The ex-couple made a joint statement on July 27 on Instagram. They wrote, “Thank you for everything you invested and the wonderful memories. We will still be good friends like family and support each other like always. Thank you, we will all become better.”
Stitch Yu told the media that it was a mutual decision and an amicable break up. On August 1, Brian Chu spoke to the media at the function and said he was doing okay. The reason for the break up was mainly due to the pandemic. Brian Chu explained, “We were separated for nearly 2 years. In these past 2 years, we’ve truly only seen each for 2 weeks. It was a mutual decision. We discussed it together and there were no arguments during the course.”
Brian Chu says they are still friends and while he will miss their relationship, he will think positively. He revealed Stitch Yu is still in Taiwan and will probably meet up when she returns to Hong Kong in September.
Stitch Yu returned to her native Taiwan back in October 2020 to film a travel show. They hadn’t seen each other for over a year due to the pandemic.
