On August 19, there were rumors spreading Crystal Liu Yifei (刘亦菲) was putting on airs while on set for an ELLE photoshoot. A netizen made a post venting that during the photoshoot, Liu Yifei was making a big fuss with the shoot and had couple of dozens of people around. They claimed Liu Yifei’s team covered cameras and blocked photography in public areas. They also said Liu Yifei required someone to hold her hand to get into the car to travel to the next location that was 30 meters away.
The person included pictures of what appears to be papers related to the project and said if the project was so confidential, you would just casually dump the important project documents and just leave.
ELLE magazine responded to a netizen’s inquiry about the allegations. They responded, “We’ve already contacted the venue to handle the false information on the internet. Liu Yifei was personally very dedicated and also cooperated very well with the photography work. Don’t believe in false rumors.”
