Hawick Lau (劉愷威, 48) was recently spotted holding hands with a woman in China. The woman was later identified to be 40 year old Chinese actress, Cherry Li Xiaofeng (李晓峰). As a result, dating rumors between the two started circulating.
Back on October 12, Hawick Lau was first spotted holding hands with a woman. At first, there were speculations that the woman he was holding hands with was 30 year old Chinese actress, Una You Jingru (尤靖茹). However, this was denied by Una’s manager. A month later, Hawick Lau was once again spotted holding hands with the same woman.
On November 17, the identity of Hawick Lau’s girlfriend was suspected to be Chinese actress, Cherry Li Xiaofeng, who happens to portray Yang Mi’s (杨幂) best friend in her currently airing series, “She and Her Perfect Husband” (爱的二八定律). Sina Entertainment reached out to Cherry Li’s staff member, who said the rumors are false. However, Hong Kong media reported the next day that Hawick Lau had admitted to his relationship with Cherry Li and revealed they were introduced by friends and they get along very well.
Hawick Lau and Yang Mi divorced in 2018. This is Hawick Lau’s first public relationship since his divorce.
