Zhao Lusi Says She Probably Won’t Act in Campus Dramas Anymore

Zhao Lusi (赵露思) has been labeled as a “sweet girl” by netizens for her image and is known for both modern and period dramas. She recently wrapped up a campus/school drama adaptation with Zhang Zheyuan (陈哲远) called “Hidden Love” (lit. 偷偷藏不住). This a highly anticipated drama due to the popularity of the novel.

In a recent interview, Zhao Lusi talks about her character, “Sang Zhi”, who is a college student that reunites with her childhood crush neighbor when she attends university in the same city as him, being “wonderful and very cute, but also childish, lonely, sincere, etc.” Zhao Lusi said that she already feel satisfied to experience portraying a character like “Sang Zhi” that contains all these emotions.

However, Zhao Lusi, who is 24 this year, may no longer experience the feelings portraying “Sang Zhi”, she said, “I feel like I’m getting older. While wearing the school uniform might be relatively fulfilling, but I probably won’t be acting in these types of campus dramas anymore.”
