The 2022 TVB Anniversary Awards Show (萬千星輝頒獎典禮2022) was held on January 8, 2023. This year, the show did many things in reverse. Instead of having one of the veteran hosts preside over the MC duties, this year, Jarvis Chow Yik Wai (周奕瑋), took over the job. Like all awards shows, the more “prominent” categories are awarded later in the program. However, TVB started off the awards this year by presenting the “Best Actor in a Supporting Role”, which went to Eric Tang Chi Wai.
“Get on a Flat” was this year’s dark horse as it took Best Drama Series, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Supporting Actor, and earned Rosita Kwok “Most Improved Female Actress”. It went up against “The Beauty of War”, which was predicted to sweep the awards this year.
