On February 2, gossip bloggers started a rumor that Wang Yibo (王一博) was “in a flirtatious relationship with a top female celebrity.” They also claimed Wang Yibo is a “lovestruck person in private”.

The rumors were immediately shut down by Wang Yibo’s Official account. They posted a screenshot of the videos circulating the rumors and put a big red “fake” character on them to deny the rumors. The account also took the opportunity to promote Wang Yibo’s current film, “Hidden Blade”.
