Canto-pop heavenly king, Aaron Kwok (郭富城) attended a farewell banquet to celebrate wrapping up his new film (麥路人) with co-star Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅) and others.  Aaron sat down for an interview with reporters and was immediately asked about a magazine’s recent article claiming his wife, Moka Fang (方媛), was not getting along with his mother, causing him to be stuck in the middle.  To this, Aaron vehemently denies these claims.

He explains, “It’s like a novel.  Every time I am promoting a new movie or a concert, these nonsense headlines and imaginary story lines will always automatically pop up to attract readers.  It doesn’t bother me.  I can just say that people are making something out of nothing and I don’t need to explain myself.  I can say at this moment, my family is very healthy, very happy, very harmonious.  Responding once to these false reports is enough.”  A reporter asks if Moka and her mother-in-law have a good relationship, which Aaron quickly replies, “Of course!”

Aaron: For now, there is nothing to report. 

Then the reporter asks if Aaron has any good news to report, referring to whether Moka is pregnant with their second child.  Aaron’s response is, “For now, there is nothing to report.  Give me some space.  A lot of things should be left up to nature.  Everything is planned by God.  However, many children I have, I leave it up to God.  So if there is good news, I will definitely share it with everyone.  As of right now, I have nothing to report.”
