Last November, there were already rumors of two members leaving the upcoming season 7 of the Chinese variety show, “Keep Running” (奔跑吧). At the time, it was rumored Li Chen (李晨) and Luhan (鹿晗) were going to be leaving the show. In addition, Lai Kuanlin (賴冠霖), of disbanded K-Pop group, Wanna One fame, was also in the rumor mill to replace Luhan. Nothing further came about from those rumors until today. With season 7 preparations coming underway, it is now rumored four of the current cast members will be leaving and replaced with three new members.

Two Members Rumored to be Leaving “Keep Running”

The new rumor circulating among Chinese social media is that the three original members of the show, Deng Chao (鄧超), Chen He (陳赫), Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍), and Luhan, who joined in season 3, are not returning for the upcoming season. The remaining members, Li Chen, Zheng Kai (鄭愷), and Angelababy are rumored to be joined by these three members: Chinese actor, Ian Wang (王彥霖), Lucas, Hong Kong member of boy band, WayV, Chinese member Song Yuqi (宋雨琦) of girl group, (G)I-DLE.

Chinese netizens have mixed reactions over the rumored cast changes. However, none of this has been confirmed, so it should be taken with a grain of salt.
