Former Miss Hong Kong and lawyer to be, Tracy Chu (朱千雪), is officially off the market. She announced she was getting married to her childhood sweetheart and doctor boyfriend, Justin, on Instagram today, which is also her 31st birthday. Good friend and fellow Miss Hong Kong, Kayi Cheung (張嘉兒), congratulated the couple and told Oriental Daily News: “I know they got engaged during a trip. I am very happy for them. As for the details, let them reveal it. I think they are still in process of planning. Their love story is very romantic because they were born in the same hospital so they knew each other since birth and seeing their love blossom, is very rare.”

Tracy Chu became a fan favorite when she won second runner up in the 2012 Miss Hong Kong pageant. She only admitted to dating Justin in March 2017 when they were caught vacationing in Singapore together. It turns out they were already dating for five years. Tracy Chu once revealed to the media that Justin was very gentle and considerate and praised him “as a rarity in society nowadays.” Because of their long distance relationship, Tracy Chu revealed they once spent Valentine’s Day through Facetime.

Oriental Daily News reached out to Tracy Chu and when asked if she will be having a baby as well to make it “triple happiness” (三喜臨門), she replied, “No, I am not pregnant! We actually got engaged when we went on vacation. But because we submitted our application for marriage registration recently, reporters were starting to inquire. Everything is in the planning stages. Because our families are not from the industry, we are trying to handle it simple as possible. Thank you everyone for your concerns!”
