Oceane Zhu (朱璇), who won first place in the 2008 Miss Chinese International pageant, left TVB in 2015 to pursue her career in China. When she got married last September, the media only found out about her wedding through her friends’ posts on social media. Even when she posted the wedding pictures, there was no frontal view of her husband. It doesn’t seem any media or Hong Kong celebrities were invited either.

Oceane Zhu has also been very quiet on social media. However, from her last IG post in October, she uploaded a picture of herself with a protruding belly. Celebrities had congratulated her and she responded back. She took the opportunity on Christmas day to formally announce her pregnancy on Weibo. As Oceane Zhu grew up in France, she posted the message in French and even tagged her location in Los Angeles. Her message reads: “Merry Christmas, this is my Christmas present.”
Good friend and fellow Miss Chinese International alum, Sarah Song (宋熙年), spoke to Oriental Daily News and said, “Extremely happy! Wishing her and the baby good health! Oceane will be a hotmama! I did share some pregnancy tips with her before, but I believe she has such a good husband, she won’t have to worry much!”
