Congratulations are in order for Grace Chan (陳凱琳) and Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎)! They announced the birth of their second son, Yannick, on August 3. Grace Chan and Kevin Cheng have a son, Raphael, born in Feb. 2019. Grace Chan revealed baby Yannick arrived earlier than expected, but both mother and son are safe and healthy.

It’s true what they say: Life is full of surprises! A big welcome to our little baby boy Yannick into the world! Even though you arrived a bit earlier than expected our family is incredibly happy to see you sooner! ❤️ Once again, I’m so ever grateful to have the kindest and best staff at Hong Kong Adventist Stubbs Road who despite the unexpected and stressful circumstances took great care of me and my baby. Special shoutout to my nurses Berni, Emily, Shirley & Heiman as well as my doctors Dr Chan, Dr Wong, Dr Ooi for your love. And to the dedicated guest relations team ChiChi, Karena, and Jenny for your overwhelming and touching support…all the arrangements were perfect and made me feel incredibly well taken care of. 😘 I’m pleased to announce that both mommy and baby are safe and happy at home now…and speaking of being happy: Rafa 哥哥 seems to be getting along well with his baby brother too! We can’t wait to see them grow up together —supporting and loving each other along the way! Wishing everyone safety and good health in this current situation. Speaking with Oriental Daily News, Grace Chan expressed, “The baby was born on July 27. The baby and I are already at home sound and safe. So far, everyone is getting along well. Rafa is really good being a big brother now. When he sees the baby, he’s a good helper. He would help me watch out for the baby. Everyone is extremely comforted. I was a bit more mentally prepared this time compared to the first pregnancy. My moods were pretty good. In short, everything went well, was smooth, and very happy. Thank you everyone for your blessings. I will be resting a lot more. I hope everyone safely stays at home. Try your best not to go out. I will be having my confinement period to nourish my body. Thank you everyone for your concern!

Kevin Cheng revealed to Oriental Daily News, Yannick’s Chinese name is “鄭承亮”. He expressed, “Very happy, mother and son are safe. Nothing is more important than being healthy right now. Second son looks like my wife. Nose is high, face is sharp. Better to look like my wife. The most important thing is he is healthy, grows up happily. I am already satisfied.”
