Renowned Hong Kong actor, Ng Man-tat (吳孟達), known for his collaborations with Stephen Chow, was admitted to the hospital on February 20. Friend and actor, Tin Kai-man (田啟文), confirmed the news with the media and revealed that Ng Man-tat was actually diagnosed with liver cancer. He had already had a surgery to remove the tumor two months ago and is recovering well and getting ready to prepare for chemotherapy.
Ng Man-tat had reportedly been in declining health in recent years. Tin Kai-man revealed Ng Man-tat’s wife is currently taking care of him. Ng Man-tat is reportedly still very weak and can’t talk, but is alert and is able to eat.
