Yang Mi (杨幂), Cecilia Liu Shishi (刘诗诗), and Tiffany Tang Yan (唐嫣) became good friends after starring in the 2009 series, “Chinese Paladin 3” (仙剑奇侠传3). As each of their respective careers grew, their friendships also grew apart. There were even rumors that Yang Mi and Tiffany Tang’s friendship fell apart over their careers. Since then, then the two have been on the same stage, but have seemingly avoided each other.
On June 2, marie claire held a fashion awards event called “POWER TRIP”, which celebrated the power and influence of women in their respective fields. This is reportedly China’s first ever event to feature all female guests. The event also reunited the female leads of “Chinese Paladin 3”, Yang Mi, Cecilia Liu Shishi, and Tiffany Tang Yan, after 11 years since the series aired. While there weren’t any direct interactions with Yang Mi and Tiffany Tang Yan, fans were graced with interactions between Yang Mi and Liu Shishi and Tang Yan and Liu Shishi.
Other actresses invited to the event include: Sun Li, Li Bingbing, Kitty Zhang, Ni Ni, Kara Li, Zhou Dongyu, Nana Ouyang, Zhou Ye, and more.
