Hu Ge (胡歌) has kept a very low profile when it comes to his personal life. He is at an age where his fans are even asking him when he’s getting married. Hu Ge has recently been dragged into dating rumors with past co-stars. He was recently rumored to have reconciled with ex-girlfriend and actress, Xue Jianing (薛佳凝), after he was spotted at her musical.

On June 4, a netizen posted a picture of Hu Ge sitting in the audience of Xue Jianing’s musical, “The Orphan of Zhao”, and was dressed very low profile. Netizens also spotted Hu Ge standing near Xue Jianing while taking a picture with the cast. Because of this, rumors started circulating Hu Ge and Xue Jianing had gotten back together.
Sina Entertainment reached out to Hu Ge’s manager who denied they were back together. They explained, “This musical’s director is Hu Ge’s friend of many years. That day’s group picture was because of the director suddenly calling him to go on stage. Really sorry for causing so much unnecessary speculation!”
Hu Ge and Xue Jianing started dating in 2006 and broke up in 2009. When Hu Ge got into that scary car accident in 2006, Xua Jianing stuck by his side to take care of him. Even though the relationship ended, Hu Ge had once said a 2015 interview that it hard to forget Xue Jianing and wiped his tears after he said, “She is…She is really good.”
