Vicky Chan Unlikely to Return to "Come Home Love Lo and Behold" as Contract with TVB wasn't Renewed

Vicky Chan’s (陳偉琪) character, “Jenny”, in TVB’s “Come Home Love: Lo and Behold” (愛.回家之開心速遞), has been on a temporary hiatus since last August. Her character was last seen escaping to the US after she betrayed the “Lung” family to help her father, setting up her temporary departure from the series. However, there were rumors at the time that Vicky Chan was being written off the show due to reports about her personal life. At the time, she revealed that she hadn’t worked at TVB for a few months already despite being under contract. Hoffman Cheng (鄭世豪), who plays “Jenny’s” husband, “Max”, told reporters that it was a hiatus and wouldn’t be leaving the show.

However, it has been almost a year since Vicky Chan’s character was on a hiatus and she still hasn’t returned to “Come Home Love: Lo and Behold”. At a recent event, Vicky Chan revealed her contract with TVB had already expired. She also said the chances of her portraying “Jenny” again is unlikely as she revealed leaving the company wasn’t her decision, hinting that TVB didn’t renew her contract.

Vicky Chan said she still wants to continue acting and work in showbiz if there are opportunities. However, there hasn’t been any other tv stations that reached out to her yet. She recently started her own online business selling Spanish Iberico ham after a friend gifted her with a leg of Iberico ham.
