Taiwanese actress, Ivy Chen (陳意涵), and her director husband, Hsu Fu-hsiang (許富翔), have been married since August 2018 and have a son born in February 2019. On July 29, Ivy Chen announced she was pregnant with her second child on social media. She wrote on Facebook, “I quit diapers already~ because I am going to be a big brother, no problem!” She also included the hashtag, “second pregnancy”.
Ivy Chen revealed she is having a girl and she didn’t realize she was pregnant until two months later because she was too busy with work. She thought she missed her period because she was too stressed from work and didn’t go for a check-up until much later.
Ivy Chen’s due date is estimated to be at the end of the year. She revealed she was shocked and surprised when she learned about her pregnancy as they weren’t especially trying for a baby. However, Ivy Chen revealed once her husband found out they were having a girl, he was smiling for a whole week. The first thing he said to Ivy Chen was, “Xiao Chu is going to be a big brother!”
