Leo Luo Yunxi (罗云熙) and Cheng Xiao’s (程潇) “Lie to Love” (良言写意) is set to air on November 30 through Tencent and iQIYI. Filming started on November 30, 2020 and wrapped up on March 21, 2021.
The storyline revolves around a young couple, “Li Zeliang” (played by Leo Luo) and “Su Xieyi” (played by Cheng Xiao), who fall in love fast and experience an unforgettable romance. Due to a sudden change of fate, it results in the destruction of “Su Xieyi’s” family and her break up with “Li Zeliang”. All the clues point to “Li Zeliang” as the perpetrator behind her family’s demise.
In order to uncover the truth, “Su Xieyi” pretends to have memory loss and goes back to her former lover’s side, “Li Zeliang”. When they meet again, they are no longer the intimate lovers they once were. From being the once bright and free “Li Zeliang”, he is now a cold and lonely CEO. This becomes a game of romance and danger, but in the end, “Su Xieyi” exacts revenge by destroying “Li Zeliang’s” career.
“Li Zeliang” is revealed to have a disabled leg that later gets amputated due to necrosis of the foot tissue resulting from a a traffic accident.
However, when the truth is finally revealed about what happened years ago, “Su Xieyi” realizes she has been wrongly blaming “Li Zeliang”. She tries her best to restore this relationship, which “Li Zeliang” responds to with a seal engraved with both of their names.

I think Cheng Xiao is gorgeous, but her acting leaves a lot to be desired… I’ve seen her in Falling into your Smile with Xu Kai, and it’s obvious she is quite the beginner. This role seems like it will have more depth and emotion, so hoping she surprises me!
