Shaun Tam apologized to his mom for not calling her often these past few years and gave the explanation that the Tam men all keep their emotions bottled inside.

Shaun Tam joined TVB in 2016 and was once called “Ratings Poison” as his earlier series were poorly received in viewership. Shaun Tam already got leading roles in prominent series once he joined TVB. In a radio show from 2020, Shaun Tam revealed that he hated being called “second generation celebrity” or “Ti Lung’s son”. As people thought he got these opportunities because of his father, there was a period of time Shaun Tam didn’t even want to take pictures with Ti Lung.
