On June 20, Jessica Kan (簡淑兒), announced her departure from TVB on Instagram. Jessica Kan wrote, “I used to be very stubborn. I wanted to produce some good results. When I got to that moment, I felt I didn’t want to be stuck in a frame anymore and slowly lose my own worth. There is still a long way to go afterwards. I will continue to work hard!” Jessica Kan also thanked directors and producers for giving her an opportunity and was glad to meet many good colleagues.
Jessica Kan is originally from New York. She signed with TVB after joining the 2012 Miss Hong Kong pageant. She was once in a girl group called, Girls’ Sample (少女標本).
