MangoTV’s “Call Me By Fire 2” Announces Line Up and Premiere Date Featuring Some Familiar Faces from Season 1

MangoTV didn’t waste any time to bank on the popularity of the first season of “Call Me By Fire” (披荆斩棘), the male equivalent of its predecessor, “Sister Who Make Waves”, which has already spawned three seasons. On August 17, MangoTV announced the line up for “Call Me By Fire 2”, showing many familiar faces from the previous season.

They also released the MV for this year’s theme song, “10 Questions” (lit. 十问). This season’s youngest participant is ICE, who was born in 1996. The show will premiere on August 19 at 12:00 pm local time.

  1. The Rules was, any Singers and Actors from Asian been in the industry for 10 years or more can apply. No age limit for upper ages.

    I agreed with you guys that if the Contestants in the 1st and 2nd returns the 3rd time, viewers will not bother to watch.

  2. i’m excited to see Yida Huang after so many years eventho i can’t see him anywhere in the teaser , and i don’y understand why so many brothers from season 1 joined this season too..

  3. Season 2’s cast is already strong enough without the likes of Jordan or ChiLam, they don’t need them. In fact, having them there will only distract viewers from noticing others.

  4. Why are the prior season’s contestants here? They only have 30 and up in the female version. Why isn’t there an age requirement for the male version? Are more than half of them going to “debut” like in season 1? Such unfair rules for male vs female versions.
