On October 21, Chinese artist, Julius Liu Wei’s (刘维) studio, announced their artist’s father, Liu Ye (刘野), had passed away from illness at 67 years old. Julius Liu Wei later posted on his personal account saying, “At 5:59 in the morning, I became an orphan. I will love myself well…They will also use another method to love me…It’s just that God doesn’t love me…Dad, there is no sickness in heaven. Farewell, help me arrange the next home.”
The unfortunate news of Liu Wei’s father’s passing comes just 6 months after his mother passed away from cancer. Back in February, Liu Wei announced he had to take a hiatus to take care of his mother as her cancer had relapsed at the time.
