Chinese actress, Zhou Xun (周迅), married Chinese-American actor, Archie Kao (高聖遠) in 2014.  The two surprised everyone at Zhou Xun’s charity event when the two announced they were getting married on stage.  Shortly after, there were already divorce rumors due to the cultural differences between the two.  The two denied the rumors.  However, according to Apple Daily, who alleges they received a tip from a reliable source that two months ago, Zhou Xun had plans to file for divorce from Archie Kao this year.  When Apple Daily asked Zhou Xun’s manager for a response, they didn’t deny the rumor and only said “we’re in the middle of a meeting” and “not sure.”

Zhou Xun started a charity foundation called, “One Night” in 2014. The foundation holds an annual charity concert in Beijing on October 19th.  Archie Kao would be in attendance every year, but this year his name was not on the guest list.  Instead, Zhou Xun’s new BFF and Faye Wong’s oldest daughter, Leah Dou (靖童擔), was listed as one of the guest performers for the concert.
