Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) had injured his foot last month while filming for “Flying Tiger II” (飛虎之雷霆極戰). He had to get surgery on his left foot. Een though he hasn’t fully recovered, he has already resumed filming with the rest of the cast. It is said it will take at least three months for his recovery. In order not to disrupt the filming schedule, Bosco Wong has made the sacrifice to just film his upper body. Some of the action scenes originally meant for him are now being done by a stunt double.
Bosco Wong has been posting behind the scenes pictures and videos of how they are accommodating his injury in order to film the scene. In one scene, they are filming Bosco Wong walking fast. In order to get the expected results, a crew member is pushing him from the back while he is sitting and emulating the walking movements. Before they can complete the scene, he bursts out laughing. The director tells him not to swing back and forth like that. Bosco Wong tells him, “I really don’t know how to act, director!” While netizens were also laughing at the way Bosco was filming the scene, many praised him for his professionalism.
Bosco Wong’s co-star, Kelly Cheung (張曦雯), joined in on the fun by posting a picture from filming with the caption, “Head and shoulder shots only” and the following hashtags: #canyourecoverquickly and #itshardholdinginmylaughter
