Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) was in Busan on October 6 with Virginia Lok (樂易玲) and director, Raymond Lee Wai Man (李惠民) at the 1st Asia Contents Awards organized by the 24th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). Raymond Lee was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for his work on “Flying Tiger” (飛虎之潛行極戰). Bosco Wong was there to present the award for “Best Asian Drama” and attempted to show off his very limited Korean to go up against the Oppas. Bosco Wong says he was turbo practicing his Korean phrases the prior night. Even though he was nervous, he got through it and even earned applause from the audience.
Reuniting with Angelababy
What was the most shocking for Bosco Wong was bumping into Angelababy, who was also there to present the award for “Best Actor”. He expressed, “After arriving in Busan, the biggest surprise was bumping into Angelababy. We collaborated a long time ago, haven’t seen each other in a long time. Once we saw each other, we definitely had to take a picture together. After all, I met my idol in Busan.”
Flying Tiger III
Virginia Lok, a producer of the “Flying Tiger” series expressed, “Flying Tiger II (飛虎之雷霆極戰) was received very well in mainland China. I already spoke to Raymond Lee that we will be filming “Flying Tiger III” (飛虎III) at the beginning of next year. He and Bosco can’t raise their prices because we need to save some budget for the production value. Last time, we bombed a speedboat. This time we don’t know what will be bombed, but it will definitely be stronger and even more eventful than the previous two series.”
