The cast and crew of TVB’s “Life on the Line” (跳躍生命線), which won seven awards in last month’s anniversary awards show, reunited today for a celebratory dinner. Last year’s “Best Actor”, Joe Ma (馬德鐘), reveals it was actually his friend who sponsored the ten tables for the dinner. He says, “My friend always says he would gift me two tables each year if I win “Best Actor.” After all these years, I didn’t win. This year, he said I have a chance and said he would gift me ten tables. Normally, I would just say thanks. I finally got the award, but I didn’t think he would call me. He said, you got “Best Series” too, you should gather the whole cast to celebrate. So I told him, of course we need to celebrate and he said to go to his restaurant. So I really thank him for fulfilling this promise.”

Joe Ma also says 2018 was a great present. When asked if there will be a sequel, he says, “There hasn’t been any discussions. It’s up to the company.” On whether he will film another TVB series this year, Joe Ma says there hasn’t been any discussions yet, but it’s up to the script and scheduling.
As for the “F4” in the series, Matthew Ho (何廣沛) complained about Bob Cheung (張彥博) not fulfilling his promise. He says, “Someone had a concert in December and still treated everyone to a celebratory dinner. He actually wants to use tonight’s dinner as his celebratory dinner. He even coerced us to attend his concert as a special guest for a “friend price.” As for Arnold Kwok (郭子豪), he backhandedly praises Bob Cheung and says, “Borrowing someone else’s wallet to take credit for his celebratory dinner. I really learned a lot.”
