Update on China’s Effeminate Ban, More Groups Included

According to Weibo user, “青春小說影視劇透社”, the NRTA’s new ban states “Male artists going on shows cannot wear earrings. Going on celebrity variety shows and web shows will be counted too. Wearing them will result in mosaic blurring.” Artists such as Lin Yanjun (林彥俊) and Lil Ghost (王琳凱) from Nine Percent, who are regulars on the variety show “Language of Flowers” (小姐姐的花店), are seen with their ears blurred out in recent episodes. Chinese actor Jing Boran (井柏然) was also blurred out on recent episodes of variety show, “I Actor” (演員的品格). So far, there is no word if this effects television series.
