Koni Lui (呂慧儀) has been in the headline the past few days for allegedly yelling at a TVB Entertainment News reporter, Angel Chow (周佩婷). It’s said Angel Chow rushed out of the studio after being yelled at by Koni Lui. Afterwards, Koni Lui’s “Come Home Love – Lo and Behold” (愛．回家之開心速遞) co-star, Kalok Chow, defended her saying the rumors aren’t true. Koni Lui also addressed it and said she’ll just treat it as promotion for the series. However, a crew member who was reportedly present said Koni Lui likes to put on airs and acts like a big shot.

This crew member said, “She doesn’t dare make a fuss at veteran actors, but towards the extra actors like “Isabella Kwan”, “Mrs. Chan” and “Chi May Lai”, it’s different. They have all been on the receiving end of her [attitude]. She’s obviously choosing who she picks on.” This insider revealed Koni Lui’s attitude was once really bad towards “Mrs. Chan”. Everyone was shocked after the scene was completed.

When asked if Koni Lui yells when there are NG takes, Cinda Hui said, “I don’t think it’s really yelling. Maybe everyone’s acceptance levels are different. Honestly speaking, I don’t really have that many NGs. She does give pointers…she only wants everyone to get off work earlier!”
