Another one bites the dust. Malaysian native, Kimmy Low (劉芷希), announced her departure from TVB over two weeks ago. Vivian Yeo (楊秀惠) also announced her departure from TVB after 16 years. There were rumors swirling TVB actress, Serene Lim (林宣妤), was heading back to her native Malaysia after her contract with TVB ended. It’s reported her profile on TVB’s website is gone already and her Wiki page says she left TVB in May. Her IG profile page doesn’t have any mention of TVB management either. Malaysian media outlet, XUAN.com, reached out to Serene Lim and she confirmed she has left TVB.
Kimmy Low Returns to Malaysia and Boyfriend After TVB Contract Ended
Serene Lim explained her contract was up so she decided to go back to Malaysia to develop her career further. However, she doesn’t rule out flying back to Hong Kong if there are job opportunities. Before joining TVB, Serene Lim won first place at the 2016 Miss Astro Chinese International (Astro國際華裔小姐競選). She joined the 2017 Miss Chinese International pageant representing Malaysia and got first runner up. Afterwards, she signed with TVB in 2018.
